Information ![]() 2011 Summer CampWhat’s happening at camp? Each week is based on a theme such as Pirate Week, Sports Week, Wet and Wild Week, Art’s Alive and more. Activities and field trips are based on the week observed. In May, a calendar of our summer plans will be available to select a week(s) your child will attend. Students work on craft projects, play games, paint pictures, sing karaoke, hang out with friends, and enjoy the outdoors.
Three field trips a week? Are you kidding? Students will go to the movies, Wannamaker Park, Ice Palace, Aquarium, Charleston Museum, James Island Park, and more. (Scheduling varies from site to site) All field trips are included in your weekly fee. Additional (optional) expenses may be popcorn at the movies or ice cream at the water park, etc. Transportation is provided by District Two School Buses.
Are meals included? Snacks will be provided daily. Students will bring a bag lunch Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (field trip days). We will provide lunch on Monday and Friday only.
When can we register? As soon as possible-Once you submit a reservation form and payment (on the back of this page) you will receive a packet to complete that includes: Parent Contact information, Discipline Policy, Field Trip form, and more.
Do you accept ABC Vouchers? All schools accept “approved” ABC vouchers for the summer program. There may be a co-pay depending on your funding from ABC/DSS.
Are you closed any time during the summer? Camp will be closed the week of July 4th (July 4-8) and the week before school starts (August 8-12).
When is payment due? Payment is due on Monday for the entire week. (Before services are rendered) We do not have a “daily” or “hourly” rate for drop-ins.
